Content management systems
The content of a website can be easily changed without having to dig into the code each and every time, which is a must for modern websites now a days. But many solutions are too cumbersome or confusing. Therefore, we have chosen to develop our own content management system, based on the Digi Framework.
Our content management system was developed with the intent that it had to be especially clear and easy to use. Besides that, we have done our best to make it as flexible as possible, so that customized work or extensions can be produced at low costs.
In the meantime we are now using version 3 and run numerous websites on our CMS system. This varies from small and simple sites to extensive and complex online applications.
Some standard features that can be found in each CMS installation are, amongst others:
- User management (unlimited users),
- Back-up system (automatic) to make back-ups from the database or data files,
- Auto-update system, so the CMS stays up-to-date,
- Mail, to e-mail conveniently from the CMS,
- A site statistics module and a standard site map,
- Support for UTF-8, allowing all characters and foreign languages to be shown correctly at all times,
- Support for HTML 5 and CSS 3 format,
- Support for IPv6,
- Automatic error reporting system, so we always stay informed if something goes wrong.
In addition, the CMS is fully extendible with modules. Some common examples are::
- Modules for managing website pages and menus,
- Module for uploading and managing documents and images, with the ability to reduce or cut out images,
- News module with a standard dynamic RSS feed,
- Contact form with standard connection to a SPAM filter,
- Newsletter module to manage subscriptions and to send newsletters.
- Modules such as Google Maps, a guest book, polls, links, projects or vacancies.
Furthermore, there are indeed specialized modules available for, amongst others, a webshop (customers, orders, invoices) or an extranet (users, protected files). We can also implement administrative modules, so that the system can be used such as managing customer relationships, managing projects and time keeping.

Digi Framework
Digi Framework is a complete and flexible platform on which the majority of our systems and applications are developed. With key words like modular, extensible, customizable, fast, and above all, secure, has now made Version 3 of the platform a stable and a reliable system that has been proven over time and time again.
Version 3 of our framework has now been running stable in multiple online applications since mid-2010. This version has been reconstructed from the ground-up to further improve on the flexibility, speed and ease-of-use. With having support for HTML 5, CSS 3, jQuery/AJAX, IPv6 and UTF-8, the system is ready for the future of the web.
Digi Framework has currently included, amongst others, content management systems, administration packages and e-commerce solutions. The system is also available as a white label version to further develop or simply to link websites.
